SCAM ALERT! Phishing calls are operating in the Wangaratta area. The calls are a recorded message telling the target they have two debits on their Visa card. The person is instructed to press 1 if the transactions were not made by them and is put through to an operator who asks for their card details. WAW does conduct transaction monitoring on customer accounts, however, we will never ask for your full card number or other details on your card, and will never contact you using an automated service. If you receive such a call suggesting that it is from your bank, please hang up immediately.
